Who we are

Anti Kamote Game is an independent educational driving game set in Philippine cities. It is not affiliated with any government agency or transport company. For anything privacy-related, contact wayfarerwondersblog@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you create an account and play, we store:

  • Account identity — your email address and the account identifiers Google shares with us. Signing in with Google is the only way to create an account; we never see or store a password.
  • Your road name — a randomly generated in-game handle. This is the only name the game ever shows publicly. Your real name from Google is never displayed in the game or on the leaderboards.
  • Game progress — level, earnings, trips, ratings, vehicles, achievements, rescued pets, and similar gameplay data, so your save follows you across devices.
  • Which city map you are driving, and where your car was parked on it, saved along with the rest of your progress. To be clear about what this is not: it is a point in the game world, chosen by you from a short list of maps and moved only by the car you drive. It is not your device's location — the game never asks your browser where you are, and would work identically if you were playing from another country.
  • Quiz and exam performance — how many questions you have answered and gotten right, which specific ones you missed, and your best mock exam score. This is what powers My Kamote Moments and the safety-accuracy leaderboard.

Your browser also keeps a local copy of your save and small preferences — such as sound on or off — in storage on your own device. Clearing your browser's site data removes those; your cloud save is unaffected.

We do not collect payment details, precise location, or contacts.

Analytics

The game uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used in aggregate — which pages and game modes get opened, which on-screen buttons get pressed, roughly where players are (country or city level, estimated from IP address), and which browsers and devices we need to keep working. Google sets cookies and device identifiers to do this.

We never send your email, real name, or road name to Analytics, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell what it reports. Google's own privacy policy governs the data once it reaches them. Browser tracking protection, content blockers, and Google's opt-out add-on all stop it — the game plays exactly the same with analytics blocked.

How we use it

To run the game: signing you in, saving your progress to the cloud, ranking your road name on the leaderboards, and serving back the questions you keep getting wrong. In aggregate, we also use it to see which parts of the game are worth fixing or building on. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Where it lives

Your account and save data are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Sign-in is handled by Google, and usage analytics by Google Analytics; their own privacy policies govern what happens on their side. Map tiles are served by CARTO/OpenStreetMap, which receive standard web requests (such as your IP address) when the map loads.

Live weather and the road routing for every city map are fetched by our server rather than your browser, so those providers never see individual players' requests or IP addresses. The routing service is only ever asked about the fixed pickup and drop-off points of the city you are driving, never about you.

What's public

Only your leaderboard row: road name, level, current vehicle, trips, star rating, all-time and weekly earnings, perfect trips, pets rescued, and question accuracy. Your email, real name, mock exam scores, and full save data are never publicly readable.

Your rights & deleting your account

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) you may access, correct, or erase your personal data. To delete your account and all associated data, email wayfarerwondersblog@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will remove your account, save data, and leaderboard row within 30 days.

Analytics measurements are aggregate and are not linked to your account, so they cannot be traced back to you or pulled out individually; Google expires them on its own retention schedule.

Children

The game is a general-audience educational title. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and its date above.
